Friday, Oct. 1st – Reconnecting
3 pm -11 pm Registration in hospitality suite at Ritz Carlton, Tyson's Corner, VA.
Welcome Suite at the Ritz Carlton:
Stop by and register or hang out, as people will be coming in throughout the day from all over the US and even from all over the world. This is the moment you have been waiting for…the moment where you see how much older and tubbier and balder than you, everyone else got!
Pick up your full weekend packet here, detailing full weekend activities, along with wristbands for all the different weekend activities, pick up your reunion T-shirts, which Poom assures us, will be arriving by Camel for some reason, but they will be there sometime in the afternoon.
We will have the movie and photos of the 2006 Grand Reunion at the old Campus in Kfar Shmar playing on a loop, so you can see what you missed the last time. Whatever stories you may have heard of dancing on tables and drunken debauchery at bars late at night at the 2006 reunion…ARE ALL TRUE, Tatko has the photos to prove it locked away in a vault, and that's where they are gonna stay, so please stop asking.
Friday night.
We have a list of several restaurants and bars right across the street from the Ritz, where we can all get together by years, decades or just Blue and Red maybe, in an informal setting. We have negotiated a standard discount at these venues. Just flash your secret AIS hand sign and get the discount, so that’s another reason you're gonna want to stop by Welcome Suite.
General lewdness and no doubt infantile behavior will ensue by most.
Stay as late as you want, remember there's a lot more to come, so try not to hurt yourselves so early in the weekend.
Much later that night: crawl back to your cars and hotel rooms on your hands and knees.
Saturday, Oct. 2nd – Rediscovering
Yeah, Rediscovering just how old you really are, and how hockey is not as easy as you remembered.
The Welcome Suite will be open from 9-11 am and 5-7 pm. So check in, get your face painted, or hair dyed…yeah right.
11 am - 4 pm Hockey Marathon
Alumni Hockey Marathon, at school near hotel.
Hockey for the brave one's among you.
Paramedics standing by for the whole event.
Light lunch - Can anyone say: hamburger in a pita?
For those of you who are over the hill, you can pick up a guitar or a tambourine and "get in the groove and let the good times roll" at the Jam Session.
We are planning a jam session on the stage of the gym during the HM. Bring your guitars, mandolins, xylophones, bongos, and whatever else you can carry. Just don't bring those annoying Kazoo things…sorry but that's not an instrument.
Saturday, Oct. 2 - Free day to see D.C. in the morning.
Alumni Hockey Marathon. Light lunch and hockey for the brave ones among you. There will be paramedics standing by…
Or:
11 am - 4 pm

Saturday Evening Events
Party like its 1985! Now's the time you can act like you're 16 again, if you haven't been acting like an ass already from the moment you entered the Ritz on Friday.
For those of you who really need to know, the dress code is Jeans all the way to full dress blues, and anything in between. Just don't show up in friggen shorts, it's embarrassing for everybody in the room, OK!
Cocktail at Ritz Carlton
7 pm to 8 pm
Open Bar at 7.30!
Gala Dinner – The Main Event of the weekend.
8 pm to 9 pm
Open Bar at 8.30!
9 pm to 10 PM – Entertainment:
Slide show by Ed Tatko "The Minister of Pleasure", making his first appearance in 5 years.
Speech by Forrest "The Zoo Keeper" Broman, detailing late 70's drug busts at AIS and how he turned the school into the place we all loved to come to in the morning and didn't want to leave until late at night.
Boring speech by reunion organizers, thanking those of you who helped us and recounting all the ways in which the rest of you who didn't, have disappointed us over the last two years.
In the spirit of the infamous Awards Ceremony's of our HS days, we will have the Alumni Reunion "Worst in Category" awards ceremony. For the worst, most pathetic performances by some of you over the reunion weekend.
Awards categories will include:
"Least Valuable Player" in HM,
"Shortest" time being held upside down by ankles and chugged beer through plastic tube the night before at bar.
Most pitiful Class turnout at Reunion. (The Class with the least number of people wins)
The Evening will be MC'd by Tatko and Bob "The Mummy" Rook
10 pm – till the Ritz Shuts turns the lights off on us! – This is where the DJ takes over…so really lot's of air guitar and bad New Wave dancing.
80 type's are strictly forbidden from doing that annoying "circle dance" thing you all used to do at the parties in the student lounge, you all know who you are, and you should still be ashamed.
Open Bar from 10 pm to 11 PM
For those of you who didn't drink yourself into a stupor in the two hours of open bar over the course of the evening, you can keep buying your own drinks at the cash bar…there's no reason for the rest of us to finance your alcoholism.
3 AM – Crawl home or back to your hotel rooms on your hands and knees after an amazing night!
_______________
Sunday, Oct. 3 – Time to Say Goodbye
Shed a tear as you realize that you need to get back to reality and the ol' ball and chain
Farewell/Checkout at Hospitality Suite and hotel restaurant.
For those of you who didn't get enough reconnecting, stop by Hospitality Suite on your way home and say one last goodbye, update your contact info for AIS Alumni database if you haven't already, grab coffee and muffins of whatever we end up giving you all, if we are in the mood and if you treat us nicely.
The $175 Registration is meant to cover all of the above. The meals included are the HM lunch the Gala Dinner and the farewell gathering on Sunday.
WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOUR SMILING FACES AGAIN!
