Here is the basic schedule of events for the reunion.
Friday, Oct. 1 - Registration
We will have a welcome Suite at the Ritz Carlton where you can all register and hang out, as people will be coming in throughout the day from all over the US and even from all over the world. We will have organized events that evening. Probably several restaurants and bars where we can all get together by years and decades in an informal setting. The Welcome Suite will be open throughout the entire reunion weekend.
Saturday, Oct. 2 - Free day to see D.C. in the coming months we will organize tours if we get interest from Alumni.
Sat LATE morning. ( see the Friday mention of BARS at NIGHT ) we will start the Alumni Hockey Marathon. This event will have a light lunch, Impromtu jam session and other organized fun. Oh and Hockey for the brave ones among you. There will be paramedics standing by...
The Gala Dinner will be at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. This is the main event of the reunion.
Sunday, Oct. 3 - Continental Breakfast, Farewell
The $175 Registration is meant to cover all of the above. The meals included are the HM lunch the Gala Dinner and the Breakfast on Sunday.
Hotel booking is separate and Poom will be posting the hotel codes later today. We have 50 rooms reserved for us at the Ritz, but we can have more if we need. We got a fantastic deal from them. We encourage you all to book at the Ritz. Mainly because its fun to have everyone in one place. But also because the Alumni Association is on the hook for a certain amount of those rooms.
Please register early for the event and for the rooms. This gives us a better indication of who is attending and the more information people have the easier and more fun it is for everyone. So if you're planning on attending, please don't wait till the last minute, and register as soon as possible.
5 and half months away!
